Emily Jewison earns Outstanding Major in Theatre Award

Emily Jewison, daughter of Rebecca and Ghlee Jewison, of Naperville was awarded the Outstanding Major in Theatre Award during Honors Day May 14 at North Central College.

A senior, Emily is majoring in theatre at North Central College. She is a graduate of Richmond High School in Richmond, Ind.

She is currently serving as a stage management intern at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre for “The Jungle Book,” an adaptation of the musical with its world premiere on stage in summer 2013. Emily is the only undergraduate intern working on this production, which has the potential to play on Broadway. On campus, she’s an officer in The Company, a student-led theatre club.
