Kaitlyn Rossi earns awards for accounting and service to student life

Kaitlyn Rossi, daughter of Debbi and John Rossi of New Lenox, Ill., received two awards—the Outstanding Major in Accounting Award and the Outstanding Service to Student Life Award—during Honors Day May 14 at North Central College.
A senior, Kaitlyn is majoring in accounting at North Central College. She is a graduate of Lincoln-Way Central High School.
Kaitlyn is an active member of the College’s Entrepreneurship and International Business Organization (EIBO) and served as the student comptroller her senior year. She is president of the Student Accounting Society and has served with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, providing free federal and state income tax assistance for low income families and individuals in the community. Her name regularly appears on the Dean’s List.
The Outstanding Service to Student Life Award recognizes juniors and seniors who have demonstrated meaningful involvement within student life and inspire a vision for the future through service and as role models. Kaitlyn is a mentor to first-year students and actively involved with residence life.
