Kristi Lishman earns Outstanding Major in Athletic Training Award

Kristi Lishman, daughter of Rodney Lishman and Rhonda Ulm, of Henry, Ill., was awarded the Outstanding Major in Athletic Training Award during Honors Day May 14 at North Central College.
A senior, Kristi is majoring in athletic training at North Central College. She is a graduate of Henry-Senachwine High School.
One of her athletic training internships involved working with the College of DuPage football team, as well as the school’s volleyball and soccer players. At North Central, she has served as a mentor to other students. Also, she and several fellow students represented the College in the 2012 Illinois Athletic Trainers Association (IATA) College Bowl, where their team placed fourth.
Kristi has already taken and passed her Board of Certification exam, a requirement for certification as an athletic trainer. Her name has regularly appeared on the Dean’s List.
