Danielle Bank ’06, North Central College career counselor, was awarded the Illinois Small College Placement Association’s (ISCPA) Professional Development Scholarship. The ISCPA consortium is a group of 23 small private liberal arts colleges and universities within Illinois that leverage their combined student and alumni populations to attract outstanding employers to major recruiting events hosted by the ISCPA, such as Fall Interview Day and CareerFest.

The $500 scholarship is awarded to an ISCPA member applicant to cover professional development expenses and to be used for conferences geared toward the career development profession and the betterment of the ISCPA organization. As a scholarship recipient, Bank will share information about her conference experiences as part of professional development presentation at a future ISCPA meeting.

Bank joined North Central’s Career Development administrative staff in 2010. She earned a B.A. in history from North Central in 2006 and an M.Ed. from Loyola University.
