More than 85 employers will be on campus for CareerFest Jan. 31

For the second straight year, North Central College will host the Illinois Small College Placement Association (ISCPA) CareerFest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, in the College’s Residence Hall/Recreation Center.
More than 85 employers in the business and nonprofit sectors, including some 20 school districts will be on campus looking to meet current students and alumni for potential jobs and internships. This event is not open to the public and is exclusively intended for students and alumni of current ISCPA institutions, including North Central. Opportunities on Jan. 31 to meet potential employers are scheduled as follows:
• 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Business and nonprofit sectors
• 1-5 p.m. School districts
To attend the event, students and alumni are required to wear professional attire and pay in cash a registration fee. The early registration fee of $10 ends Friday, Jan. 24; registration the day of the event is $20. Visit the Career Development Center, room 235 in Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium, to register. A Job Fair Success Packet will be mailed to each North Central registrant.
It’s recommended that registrants upload their résumés to the ISCPA site (employers will have access for a pre-screen) and bring hard copies to the event.
