Kerby Kniss earns Outstanding Major in Political Science Award

Kerby Kniss daughter of Kraig and Tami Kniss of Lanark, Ill., was awarded the Outstanding Major in Political Science Award during Honors Convocation May 13 at North Central College in Naperville.

A junior, Kerby is majoring in political science with a minor in conflict resolution at North Central College. She is a graduate of Eastland High School.

Kerby was a leading preceptor for Leadership, Ethics and Values (LEV) classes. She wants to help people who are less fortunate and believes she can do that best by being a lawyer. She was accepted to the prestigious John Marshall Law School Fair Housing Undergraduate Internship Program with classroom and hands-on learning. She participated in the College’s Chicago Term and plans to pursue law school and a legal career.

Her name has regularly appeared on the Dean’s List.
