Scott Blaszak earns Outstanding Major in Biology Award

Scott Blaszak, son of Wayne and Aida Blaszak of Naperville, was awarded the Outstanding Major in Biology Award during Honors Convocation May 13 at North Central College.

A senior, Scott is majoring in biology at North Central College. He is a graduate of Neuqua Valley High School.

Scott has presented original research at five conferences, including the National Conference on Undergraduate Research and North Central’s Rall Symposium for Undergraduate Research. He has served as a lab assistant and twice participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Colloquium. Scott plans to pursue a career in medicine.

His name has regularly appeared on the Dean’s List.
