Sep 03, 2014

North Central College will showcase paintings and ceramic artwork by Thomas C. Goodell in the exhibit titled “Pots and Other Things” Sept. 9 through Oct. 19.

The exhibit is free and open to the public in the College’s Oesterle Library Gallery, 320 E. School St. An artist reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18; complimentary refreshments will be served.

Goodell studied art and ceramics at the University of Houston and has been painting and creating ceramic pieces for some 25 years. He says, “I paint to find out how I feel” and considers himself a nonintegrated artist, with ceramics pulling him in one direction and painting in another. He’s currently a studio technician at North Central College and at College of DuPage.
