Professor William Muck discusses Ukraine, ISIS on public affairs radio program

William Muck, North Central College associate professor of political science/sociology and anthropology appeared Sept. 6 on a public affairs radio program.

Muck was a guest on “Week In Review” on WDCB-FM 90.9, the National Public Radio affiliate based at College of DuPage. The 30-minute program is hosted by Assistant News Director Gary Zidek, a 2003 graduate of North Central College.

The program features a panel discussion known as “The Roundtable” where local political science professors, journalists and newsmakers discuss current events and politics. Muck and a College of DuPage professor offered their expert analysis of political, economic and military turmoil in Ukraine and the response by the United States to the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq (ISIS). A recording of the discussion may be heard on WDCB's SoundCloud channel.

Muck is chair of North Central College’s department of political science/sociology and anthropology and coordinator of Global Studies.
