Greg Lynch joins North Central’s philosophy faculty in fall 2014

North Central College welcomed Assistant Professor of Philosophy Greg Lynch, a newly appointed full-time, tenure-track faculty member for the 2014-2015 academic year, which started Sept. 15.

Previously, Lynch was a postdoctoral teaching fellow at Fordham University, where he also served as a teaching fellow while a graduate student. His areas of specialization include phenomenology, philosophy of mind and philosophy of language. At North Central, he will teach courses in ethics, aesthetics and the history of philosophy.

He received his B.A. in philosophy with a minor in Greek from Cedarville University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in philosophy from Fordham University.
