Sep 15, 2014
North Central College is again a host site for the Naperville Independent Film Festival (NIFF), now in its seventh year. Starting Sept. 14, Smith Hall in Old Main, 30 N. Brainard St., will showcase foreign films that have won awards at Paris’ European Film Festival, or the ECU.
Some 18 films will be shown in Smith Hall at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, through Friday, Sept. 19. Click here for a schedule, titles and descriptions of those films. Tickets are $3/North Central student, faculty and staff and $5/general public per evening, and a week’s pass is $12/North Central community and $16/public. Tickets can be purchased with cash at the door.
Since NIFF’s start in 2007, North Central College has been an active participant. The College’s student film club CELLULOID has sponsored its own Fall Festival of Independent Film, now in its fourth year, as part of NIFF.
