2014 Athletic Hall of Fame: Amanda Talley ’01, multiple record holder for softball

Oct 09, 2014

During Homecoming 2014, North Central College will induct Amanda Talley ’01 into the Athletic Hall of Fame on Oct. 18.

Talley is recognized as one of the leading factors that provided the Cardinals softball program with the most successful four-year run in history. A standout player, Talley was a starter in the middle infield from the very beginning and became the third North Central player to earn All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) honors each of her four years on the team. She remains the only player in the program’s history to earn All-Region accolades from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Talley holds the single-season record for runs batted in, hits and games played and is the Cardinals’ career leader in hits, runs batted in and at-bats.
