King is named fiction editor at literary press

Patricia King, North Central College lecturer in English, has been named fiction editor at Kore Press, a literary press founded in 1993 and located in Tucson, Ariz. The press publishes poetry, fiction and nonfiction by women.

As fiction editor, she will advise the publisher and cofounder, serve as a representative of Kore Press at the Association of Writers and Writing Programs annual conference, and work with the annual winner of Kore’s Short Fiction Award to prepare the story for publication as a chapbook.

King has taught at North Central since 2006. She earned her B.A. from Eastern Mennonite University, an M.A. from James Madison University, an M.F.A. from Warren Wilson College and her Ph.D. from Emory University.
