Jan 30, 2015
Patricia Schacht, North Central College associate professor of psychology, gave a presentation titled “The Ins and Outs of Bullying: What Is It, Who Does It, and How Should We Handle It?” at the Gombert Elementary School LMC PTA meeting on Jan. 15.
In her talk to parents, Schacht discussed the different types of bullying, the different roles children can play in bullying situations, and what parents can do to help their children if they are bullied or witnesses of bullying. An expert in child development and parental behaviors, she finds increasing demand for information on the topic of bullying and its prevention.
