Mar 19, 2015

Clark Teuscher, North Central College sports information director, was a presenter and panelist at the NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar (ELS) held Jan. 29 at the NCAA National Office in Indianapolis. Recently, he also was named the co-chair of the College Sports Information Directors of America’s (CoSIDA) Continuing Education Committee.

At the seminar, Teuscher gave a presentation on his background and experience, an overview of the role of communications and marketing in intercollegiate athletics, and the interface between the many functional areas of an athletics department. As a panelist, he addressed the professionals working in communications and marketing and gave an in-depth context for the work they do.

An annual event, the ELS provides leadership, educational and transitional programming for interns and graduate assistants who are interested in pursuing a career in intercollegiate athletics. Some 200 participants from NCAA-member institutions, conference offices and affiliate organizations across the country attended.

A member of the Office of Marketing and Communications, Teuscher joined North Central College in 2008.
