Bracarense accepted to research fellowship at Duke University

Natália Bracarense, North Central College assistant professor of economics, was accepted to Duke University’s Fellowship Program at the Center for the History of Political Economy. She will reside at Duke during fall term 2016 to pursue her research project—a historical appraisal of economic theories on distribution and how they affected economic policies in Latin America.  

This research opportunity is through North Central College’s Junior Faculty Enhancement Program, which provides institutional support to scholarly work by junior faculty.
 
Founded at Duke in 2008, the Center for the History of Political Economy promotes and supports research in, and the teaching of, the history of economics. It supports a Fellowship and Visiting Scholars program and other activities.
