Life in Student Village
Jul 30, 2015
In its 45 years, Student Village residence hall was home to thousands of North Central College students. With three towers, three floors in each tower, and three rooms on each of the floors, Student Village allowed its residents to connect and interact daily in many ways. Whether studying in the lounge, hanging out in their rooms, or painting the large windows on the first floor, residents brought the walls and halls of their small but mighty community to life.
Student Village residence hall was removed from campus in July 2015 to create space for new memories to be made with North Central College’s Science Center, opening in summer 2017. Now we're giving everyone a chance to own a piece of history while propelling the College into a Brilliant Future. Those who purchase a $250 engraved brick—which will be placed at the south entryway of the new Science Center near the former site of Student Village—will have the option to receive a commemorative brick from Student Village, while supplies last.
If you are interested in owning a piece of North Central history, you may fill out this online form. The limited edition commemorative Student Village bricks will be available in September and may be picked up from campus or shipped for an additional charge of $15.
