Elizabeth Composto ’15 earns Outstanding Major in Interactive Media Studies

Elizabeth Composto, daughter of Francesco and Renell of Bloomington, Ill., was awarded the 2015 Outstanding Major in Interactive Media Studies Award during Honors Day in May at North Central College.
Elizabeth, who graduated in June, majored in technology and graphic arts at North Central College. She is a graduate of University High School.
Elizabeth competed as a member of North Central College’s women’s track and field team. She is a seven-time College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) pole vault champion, a four-time NCAA indoor pole vault All-American and an eight-time NCAA pole vault qualifier. She is a 2015 NCAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Senior Influence Award winner and was nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award and the CCIW Woman of the Year Award.
In 2014, Elizabeth became the 10th student-athlete in the history of the Cardinals’ athletic program to win three straight CCIW titles in the same event. She was also a participant in the 2014 Capital One Academic All-America Women’s Track and Field/Cross Country Division III Team. After graduation, she attended Designation, a leading computer science coding-design boot camp. Her name regularly appeared on the College’s Dean’s List.
