John DePasquale earns Outstanding Major in Exercise Science Award

John DePasquale ’15, son of August and Linda DePasquale of Geneva, was awarded the Outstanding Major in Exercise Science Award during Honors Day in May at North Central College.

John, who graduated from North Central College in June, majored in exercise science. He is a graduate of Geneva Community High School.

While at North Central, John served as vice president of the student-run Pre-Health Organization on campus. He worked as a monitor team leader through the College’s EDGE tutoring program and served as a lab assistant and tutor in the College’s anatomy and physiology lab. He consistently earned honors on the College’s Dean’s List.

He completed an internship in the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program at Edward Hospital in Naperville. John was accepted into the graduate studies program at Benedictine University where he is studying clinical exercise physiology. He wants to pursue a career helping people affected with eating disorders.
