Lacey Kwiatek earns Outstanding Major in Sports Management Award

Lacey Kwiatek ’15, daughter of Michael and Tammy Kwiatek of Spring Valley, Ill., was awarded the Outstanding Major in Sport Management during Honors Day in May at North Central College.

Lacey, who graduated from North Central College in June, majored in sport management. She is a graduate of Hall High School.

While at North Central, Lacey was president of the student-run Sport Management Association and a member of the Blue Key National Honor Society. She served as student representative on a search committee for a tenure-track sport management faculty position and volunteered with the Naperville Marathon. She consistently earned honors on the College’s Dean’s List.

Lacey completed a variety of internships, including with marketing event staff at the Bulls/Sox Academy and in the athletic department at Illinois Valley Community College. She volunteered with the Arizona Host Committee as a Super Bowl Ambassador at Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, Ariz., and worked with the Chicago Bears as a fan services representative.

Lacey is continuing her studies in North Central College’s M.B.A. program with a focus in management. She also has accepted a position with the Chicago Bears in client services, focusing on premier accounts.
