All are invited to come home for North Central’s Homecoming celebration

North Central College’s 2015 Homecoming Celebration is just around the corner! Reconnect with classmates and faculty, meet new alumni and friends and celebrate North Central College with your Cardinal family Oct. 22-25.

Homecoming festivities feature mainstage music and theatre performances, reunion gatherings, 50-Year Club banquet, Athletic Hall of Fame and outstanding alumni presentations, a parade through campus, pep rally, football game vs. Wheaton, Reunion Celebration and much more!

Most activities are free but some require registration and tickets, including Peter Frampton’s “Raw, An Acoustic Tour” performance on Oct. 22, the free Homecoming Kickoff Concert featuring North Central’s music ensembles on Oct. 23, and Jonny Lang in Wentz Concert Hall on Oct. 25. The Reunion Celebration welcomes all alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of the College for dinner and dancing from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. Click here to make your reservation.

Other #NCWelcomeHome events include alumni flag football, wrestling, swimming and volleyball contests; plus reunions for marketing, education, Enactus and African-American graduates.

All are invited to the Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday in Wentz Concert Hall. The 2015 class includes Tim Winder, men’s and women’s track & field coach; John “Jim” Kalas ’55, Ph.D., swimming; Rich Scopp ’89, cross country and track and field; Robert Brown ’90, basketball; Mark Townsend ’91, swimming; and Donna Chess ’94 Boomgarden, volleyball. The 2 p.m. Saturday football game vs. Wheaton College will be an important conference matchup and fight for the Little Brass Bell, which the Cardinals intend to bring home with a victory.

Four alumni will be honored for their contributions to the College and their communities at the Reunion Celebration Saturday evening: Joseph Mallon ’80, J.D., C.P.A., Rachel Louise Snyder ’92, Nathan Montgomery ’00, M.D., Ph.D., and the late Rev.
