Changemaker Challenge

As an MAI, AI-GRS, Certified General Appraiser, Ibi has extensive experience in complex, commercial, economic and residential valuation, which includes multi-year cash-flow projections for properties up to 1-million square feet in size and over $500 million in value. Her experience spans 20 years in appraisal and real estate investment. It includes professional witness for litigation cases and tax appeal. Ibi has been recognized for commitment to youth education and training, and has offered numerous internships for appraising, property management, real property investment and real property analytics. Ibi will serve as this year's keynote.

DuShaun is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through the Yoga Alliance and was certified through Bloom Yoga Studio in June of 2020. In addition, she received her 95-hour Children’s Yoga Certification from Mission Propelle in the summer of 2018. DuShaun previously worked in higher education, and is currently a community organizer in North Lawndale, a community on the west side of Chicago. Because of her former and current work, DuShaun is focused on bringing yoga to youth, activists, and organizers. DuShaun teaches through the lens of equity and trauma-informed, hosting classes in “non-traditional” settings all over the city. She intends on taking down as many barriers as possible to bring yoga to those who are looking for calm and relaxed minds. DuShaun truly believes yoga is for all, and shares that throughout Chicago and beyond. DuShaun will be joining us as a judge this year!

Diane is the Dean of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship at North Central College and the Mary Schneller Rosar Endowed Chair in Economics. She has also been recognized as a Ruge Fellow for excellence in teaching. Her research appears in journals including the Review of Industrial Organization and Applied Economics. Her current area of research is in sports economics, particularly the demand for women's collegiate sports. Diane has also served as the Faculty Athletic Representative to the NCAA and as an advisor to the Faculty Mentor program for athletics. She was the inaugural advisor to Omicron Delta Epsilon, the Economics Honor Society. Diane will be joining us as a judge this year!

Sara Cantor is a creative leader and human-centered designer focused on equity, inclusion and social innovation. After seven years using human-centered design to create new markets for corporate clients, she co-founded Greater Good Studio in 2011 to apply the process and principles of design to the more pressing challenges of the social sector. Her team of “pissed-off optimists" has helped nonprofits, foundations, and government agencies to build internal capacity for social innovation, create and prototype new programs and services, and sustain and scale their impact. Sara will be joining us as a judge for the second year!
