Kamelotte came to North Central College in 2018 as the Graduate Assistant for Student Involvement. After a fulfilling year of working with undergraduate students through Orientation, Commuter and Transfer student association, and other first year programs, she transitioned into a new position at the Center for Social Impact as an Assistant Director.
She is passionate about working with student growth and development, leadership, and assisting under represented and non-traditional students navigate through college. Alongside her Center for Social Impact role, Kamelotte serves on North Central College’s Taskforce for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She received her Bachelor’s degree in African & Black Diaspora studies and Education from DePaul University and her Master’s degree in Leadership Studies with a concentration in Higher Education from North Central College.
