Kamelotte serves as the Assistant Director for the Center for Social Impact. She is responsible for overseeing the Center's student organizations, assisting with Changemaker Challenge and TEDx, and planning innovative events and programs for the Center. In the classroom, she teaches Design thinking for Social Impact, a Community Engaged Learning course that examines leadership, human centered design, and changemaking.
She is passionate about working with student growth and development, leadership, and assisting under represented and non-traditional students navigate through college. Alongside her Center for Social Impact role, Kamelotte serves on North Central College’s Taskforce for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Bias Education Team. She received her Bachelor’s degree in African & Black Diaspora studies and Education from DePaul University and her Master’s degree in Leadership Studies with a concentration in Higher Education from North Central College.
