Marcus Hamp joined the Office of Residence Life in June 2016. As director, Marcus oversees all aspects of the office, and works with students, staff, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure that residents have the best possible experience while living on campus. Marcus serves as a member of the College's Behavioral Intervention Team, the Green Dot Implementation and Education Teams, as well as the College's Crisis Task Force.
Marcus received his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and completed his masters in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration at Indiana University Bloomington. Before coming to North Central, Marcus worked with the Office of Residential Life at Illinois State University.
Marcus is very excited to be a part of North Central College, and enjoys assisting students in managing everyday life, while connecting them to all that North Central has to offer.
