Our two-hour Information Sessions are an easy way to get the essential details about how and when to apply for transfer admission and financial aid, learn about transfer scholarships, and understand transfer of credit at North Central. Walking tours of campus are also offered.

We're also offering a larger Campus Visit Day on Monday, January 21, 2019. This program allows you to learn more about our outstanding academic programsstudent lifeadmission guidelines and financial aid. Walking campus tours with a current student and an opportunity to meet faculty from all of our academic areas are other items on the program agenda. Please see below for a full itinerary.

Additional options offered in conjunction with the Visit Day:

  • January 21 - Montaigne Scholarship Competition: The Montaigne Scholarship is a scholarship for students applying to a major within the Shimer Great Books School. Participants write an essay based on their reading of a work by Michel de Montainge, the 16th century French writer who invented the essay form itself. Students that submit an essay will participate in a discussion following the January 21st Visit Day. For more information and to register for this scholarship competition, please contact Alex Resendiz at or 630-637-5800.
  • January 21 - Fine Arts Scholarship Auditions: Fine Arts Scholarships are available for new incoming students. Learn more and register!
  • January 21 and February 18 - Engineering Make & Take Event: Experience Engineering at North Central College first-hand by attending a unique open house event. Meet with the Director of Engineering to learn how our programs prepare you to be among the best of 21st century engineers. You'll also have an opportunity to work in the lab with our 3-D design software and printers. Create an item and take it with you! Learn more and register!
