Radio and television host Tavis Smiley will be keynote speaker Jan. 19 during the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Week observance at North Central College.
The Illinois State Board of Education has named North Central alumnus Josh Stumpenhorst recipient of the 2011-2012 Illinois Teacher of the Year Award.
The Sesquicentennial exhibit includes a letter written by Abraham Lincoln.
As part of its Sesquicentennial Celebration North Central College will host an exhibit to display prized artifacts from its Oesterle Library collections.
