Graduate Assistantships

The purpose of the Graduate Assistantship (GA) program is to provide professional experience that complements graduate instruction and study for students pursuing advanced degrees from North Central College. The 2-year GA position is designed to aid students in the successful completion of their degrees and to enhance their career opportunities through applied professional experiences. Graduate Assistantships begin each Fall semester. Benefits include:

  • Tuition remission valued over $28,000
  • $5,000 stipend per year

Step 1: Complete Graduate School Application

Must be accepted into one of the following appropriate graduate degree programs:

  • Master of Arts in Higher Education Leadership
  • Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership
  • Master of Arts in Professional and Creative Writing
  • Master of Arts in Sport Leadership
  • Master of Business Administration

Please note: Only degree programs from the list above are eligible for the graduate assistant program; students applying to programs outside of this list are not eligible for graduate assistantships
