From freshman orientation to graduation day, the Center for Student Success offers a range of programs that help students achieve their academic, personal, and professional goals. 

Dyson Wellness Center

When you’re feeling unwell, it’s good to know that compassionate help is close at hand. Dyson’s staff of on-campus health care professionals are here to provide confidential medical and counseling services, including free appointments, common prescriptions, medical tests, and therapy sessions.

With nearly 40% of students identifying as first-generation, North Central is a nationally recognized leader in equipping these trailblazing students for success in college. Premier Scholars Program

The Premier Scholars Program, also known as "Premier," serves a diverse group of incoming first-year students. As a Premier Scholar, you’ll get to create incredible memories and build lasting friendships. Through the program you will engage with the campus through a sample psychology class, campus partner workshops, and have an assigned Premier Team Leader mentor, who will support you throughout your first year at North Central!

International Student Services and Engagement (ISSE) supports, advocates and designs experiences for international students from admittance through graduation. We provide students with personal and professional development opportunities outside the classroom.

Academic Advising

Mapping your academic journey at North Central doesn't have to feel overwhelming. Your assigned Success Coach will help you select your classes and keep you on track to meet the requirements of your program. Our coaches will help you craft a class schedule that balances your academic needs, extracurricular interests and professional goals.

Writing Center

Staffed by your fellow students, the Writing Center is an excellent resource for writers at all levels to hone their essays, research papers, cover letters, and more. Consultations are free and offered in-person or online. Tutorials can happen at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming a topic to final revision.

The Math Resource Center offers thoughtful support for problem solving, calculus, and many other topics across STEM classes. We’re open afternoons throughout each term to work with you on any math questions you may have.
