One of the best ways to determine whether North Central College is the right fit for you is to visit. Whether you’re an admitted student looking to discuss questions surrounding your final decision, an applicant with questions about completing your application, or a prospective student just starting your college search, our counselors are ready to assist you and your family.  We have limited in-person options and several virtual options.

Individual Visits

We're currently offering in-person individualized visits. This on-campus visit opportunity includes a 45-minute walking campus tour with a current student and a meeting with an Admission Counselor (30 minutes for incoming freshman and 1 hour for incoming transfers if you'd like a transcript evaluation).  To view visit dates and times, schedule your visit, and learn more about the safety measures we've put in place, please click the yellow button below.

Saturday Visits

Incoming Freshmen: Hear an admission presentation in a small and socially distanced group setting before meeting your very own current student tour guide for a walking tour of our beautiful campus. Maximum of 3 families per time slot. Search by Event Category and select Saturday Small Group Visit to see options.  Then create an account or enter your email and password if you already have an account to complete registration. 

Incoming Transfers: Select Saturdays are available to meet individually with a transfer counselor before taking an individualized campus tour with a current student of our beautiful campus.  Search by Event Category and select Individual Campus Visit. Then search by the Saturday date you are looking for. 

Drop-in Hours for Admitted Students

Congratulations on your decision to attend North Central College! Drop by our office to pay your deposit before the May 1 deadline and pick up your complimentary yard sign and NC *swag-bag to celebrate that you're #CardinalBound! (*while our supplies last)

Want another look at the Science Center? Tour of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship? Tour guides are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for students who want one last look before deciding to attend North Central. (If you would like a full campus tour, please register for a Saturday Visit or Individual Visit above.)

Freshman Visit Days

Our most popular visit option for high school students, this program offers admission and financial aid presentations, a campus tour with a current student, a student life fair, lunch on campus and more.

Transfer Information Sessions

Get the essentials on transferring to North Central College. Learn about the transfer admission and financial aid timelines, transfer scholarship opportunities, and the transfer-ability of credit. Tour campus, meet your admission counselor and more.

Individual Campus Visit

Your visit can include any of the following: meeting with an admission counselor, walking campus tour, transfer transcript evaluation, class observation, faculty appointment and coach appointment.

High School Spring Break Visits

Learn about admission and financial aid processes in a group setting. Campus tours are also offered. 

Note: This event is designed for prospective freshman students who are currently juniors, sophomores or freshmen in high school.

Fine Arts Auditions

Accepted high school and transfer students interested in participating or majoring in the Fine Arts can audition for scholarships at these programs.

The Shimer Great Books School is currently offering individualized campus visits and several opportunities to participate in the Montaigne Scholarship competition.

First-Generation Visit Days

Calling all first-generation college students! This visit opportunity is designed with you in mind, allowing you to experience North Central's Cardinal First program.

Financial Aid Night

We understand the importance of the financial aid process to you and your family. Join us for an evening dedicated to financial aid topics and what our process looks like at North Central.

Athletics Jamboree

Experience athletics at North Central. Complimentary tickets will be provided to you and your family to attend the many sporting events taking place on campus this day. Pep Band, Dance Team and Cheer opportunities also included.

High-Achieving Transfer Session

Experience the North Central College honors community through this specialized event featuring our honors program and other unique academic opportunities. Optional overnight for admitted students.
