1985

Phillip Burke, III was elected to a fifth term as chairman of the board of the village of Sycamore Hills, Missouri. He also was reelected as secretary for the Mayors of Small Cities and serves on the nomination committee of the St. Louis County Municipal League. An occasional political science lecturer for a local college, he enjoys traveling in his free time and has visited 50 states, seven continents, and more than 50 countries. He continues to play trumpet for the Ambassadors of Swing and the After Hours Community Band. Phillip earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.  (3/12)

Col. Deborah (Dean) Cafarelli is the Air Force Materiel Command Chair to Air University. She joined the Air War College faculty in the Department of Warfighting in July 2009. As a Developmental/Flight Test Engineer, she has served in a variety of acquisition and staff positions at the Air Force Phillips Laboratory, the Air Force Flight Development Test Center, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the Air Staff. She has also commanded the 633rd Electronic Systems Squadron (JSTARS). Col Cafarelli earned masters degrees in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in Military Operational Art and Science from the Air Command and Staff College, and in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF). She is also a graduate of the USAF Test Pilot School.  (3/11)

1989

Patrick Morton earned his mechanical engineering degree at Marquette University. He is an analytical engineer for MTS, a Minneapolis-based company that makes testing equipment. Pat works at his computer testing the test equipment before it is built, and diagnoses problems when a piece of equipment doesn't work. He and his wife, Kristina, currently live in Glassboro, New Jersey, but hope to return soon to Minneapolis.
