International Requirements for Admission
- You must be at least 17 years of age
- You must have successfully completed the equivalent of a high school/secondary school education. Verification may be requested.
Application Checklist
To apply, applicants must provide the following items by mail or email:
- Completed and signed application form
- Completed Affidavit of Financial Support and bank letter (F-1 students only)
Please complete and sign the Affidavit of Financial Support 2023-2024 form and submit a Bank Letter (original or color scan)
- The bank letter should:
- Include the name of the account holder and the amount in the account
- Specify the type of account (e.g., savings, checking, time deposit, etc.) and the currency of the account
- Have the sponsor's name
- Please also ensure that the bank account owner is the sponsor who completes and signs the Affidavit of Support form
- North Central accepts original letters or color scans of original letters. Please have the document stamped and/or signed by a bank official.
- Copy of your passport identification page
- $100 application fee: Fee can be paid by a check made out to North Central College drawn on a U.S. or U.S-affiliate bank OR a credit card (include a completed Credit Card Payment Authorization Form)
F-1 Students Transferring from a U.S. Institution Must Submit:
- A Transfer Verification Form completed by your current international student advisor
- A copy of your current I-20 Form
F-1 Students Who Need I-20's For Dependents Must Submit:
- Dependent passport identification page(s)
- Proof of additional funds to support family members (see Affidavit of Financial Support form for details and estimate)
Documents to Submit with the Application:
- Completed and signed Student Health Record with proof of immunization
- Completed Housing Application & Roommate Questionnaire
