Presidential Search Update - 3/9/23

Dear North Central Community,

I am delighted to share that the Board of Trustees has selected North Central College’s 11th president.

On behalf of the board, I invite all students, faculty, and staff to gather for a joyous event to formally introduce and welcome our president-elect. This occasion will take place at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, in the Wentz Concert Hall. A celebratory reception will immediately follow in the concert hall lobby. The introduction of the 11th president will also be livestreamed on our Presidential Search web page and on the North Central College YouTube channel.

I want to offer my deep gratitude to Dr. Kathy Birkett for her leadership as chair of the presidential search committee and to the committee members—students, faculty, staff, cabinet, and trustee representatives—who participated in this process, approaching each step with great care and devotion to the College. I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wider campus community for your support and engagement.

This is an exciting and historic moment in the life of North Central College. I sincerely hope you will join us on March 21.
