Ashley Klco serves as North Central College’s Director of Campus Safety. Under her leadership the Department is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment conducive to the educational, professional and personal growth of all members of the campus community, while working to foster community trust, mutual respect and cooperation. Areas of Campus Safety include, Officer development, policy enforcement, safety/medical escorts, parking and transportation services, building access, switchboard operations, Cardinal Shuttle and Red Bike operations, and fleet vehicles. Ashley also works with campus colleagues in investigating Title IX complaints. Ashley serves as a member of the College's Behavioral Intervention Team and Bias Incident Response Team. Ashley is responsible for executing the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. Ashley is a member of the Crisis Task Force team in the role of a tri-chair. Ashley serves on the College's Veteran Success Team dedicated to the academic and personal success of our student veterans.
Ashley joined North Central College in 2014. Prior to working at North Central College, Klco worked in public safety as a 911 Telecommunicator.
Ashley received her undergraduate degree in organizational leadership from Benedictine University. Ashley received her master’s degree in leadership studies at North Central College.
