Youssef Mekawy is a diversity & inclusion advocate. In 2013, I dropped out of my University in Egypt to follow a passion of studying Human Resources Management for one year as an exchange student at North Central College. I was honored to receive this opportunity as a scholarship from the US embassy in Cairo, Egypt. Then, I had the opportunity to transfer to North Central and graduate with my bachelor's degree in 2017, majoring in Human Resources Management and Communications. My future career goals are focused on working for institutions where I can advocate for eliminating bias and spreading awareness about cultural diversity.
