Jamie LaPenna

Dr. Jamie LaPenna completed her BA in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her DPT from Northwestern University.  She completed her fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy at the University of Illinois at Chicago and was then recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. Dr. LaPenna’s educational experience has primarily been in orthopaedics for both DPT and medical students of various institutions. Research interests include understanding the prevalence of imposter phenomenon among licensed physical therapists.

Outside of the classroom, Jamie enjoys walks in nature, loves concerts, travel, being with loved ones, reading, and movies. She lives in the southwest suburbs of Chicago with her husband, son and their two chihuahuas.
