North Central Cardinal First continues to build on its reputation for its first-generation programming and student success with its 2024 Alumni Academy. The event helped celebrate 10 years since Cardinal First was founded.

Ben Rabe ’17, an exercise science major and former Cardinal football player, accepted a position with the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League in February 2024 as their director of performance analytics.

As a kickoff to Earth Month (April), North Central College hosted the For the Love of Waterways (FLOW) Film Festival on Friday, March 22. The festival featured seven films about issues related to waterways, including the documentary "Mussel Matters" that has been worked on by four North Central students.

North Central College’s student-run radio station, WONC FM 89.1, was nominated for 12 national 2024 Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) awards, including Best College/University Radio Station among schools with fewer than 10,000 students.

Area high school students, along with their families and supporters, are invited to explore the next steps of their academic career at the Illinois Regional College Fair (IRCF) on Wednesday, March 13 at North Central College

In honor of Women’s History Month in March, the City of Naperville and North Central College will partner to host “Coming Together to Lead Well: A Community Conversation.”
