Life is a Dream

A disguised Rosaura arrives in a realm governed by fear of a prophecy, seeking justice.  Segismundo, a prince imprisoned since birth, is released from captivity. Each must navigate a world where the lines between reality and illusion are blurred and reputation, power, and fate seem written in the stars. This adaptation of Calderón’s classic examines how people become who they are—and whether they can choose to become someone else. “¿Qué es la vida? Una ilusión, una sombra, una ficción, y el mayor bien es pequeño: que toda la vida es sueño, y los sueños, sueños son.”
