Readmission for Former Students

Welcome back to campus!

North Central welcomes your interest in returning to campus. If you were a degree-seeking student at North Central and left the College for more than one term (excluding summer students), you will need to complete the readmission process.

Returning Undergraduate Student

Complete and save an online Application for Readmission to return by email, mail or fax at (630-637-5819).  If you plan to return it via email, be sure to save this form on your computer and complete it using Adobe; otherwise it will come through blank.  You may instead call us at 630-637-5800 to request a paper copy sent to you via postal mail, or stop in to pick one up from the Office of Admission (1st Floor Old Main)

Note

Our next traditional start term possibility, Fall semester 2020, begins Monday, August 24th. For full admission, financial aid, and registration consideration, there is a target date of Friday, July 31st for Fall semester file completion. If you cannot complete your file by this date, call our office at 630-637-5800 to discuss your situation. We are also currently admitting students for our Spring semester 2021 (January 11th start).

Application Materials

Submit official, sealed transcripts from any college listing coursework attempted since you were enrolled at North Central College. The College confirms prior enrollments with a national student database.

  • If it has been more than five (5) years since attending the College, you must resubmit transcripts from any and all colleges you attended prior to starting at North Central. The College does not maintain these records for more than 5 years from your last time of enrollment.
  • You must request your own official transcripts from other institutions attended. North Central cannot request transcripts, as it is your personal information.
  • A minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA is required to be considered for undergraduate readmission.
  • There is no application fee or tuition deposit required for former students.

Admission Decision Process

The Office of Admission will confer with the Business Office, the Office of Financial Aid, the Dean of Students Office, and the Office of Academic Affairs in making a readmission decision.

For full financial aid consideration, complete or update your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with our college code (001734) as soon as possible.
