Immunization Requirements
All new students are required to complete the Immunization Form. No physical exam is required to attend North Central College. If the immunization information is not complete, a medical hold will be placed on your account two weeks after the first day of classes of your starting term. This means that you cannot add a class or register for the next semester.
Illinois State Law mandates that all students entering a post-secondary institution, born after 1956, must provide proof of immunizations.
Health Insurance
Students in J-1 Status
Federal regulations require that all J-1 exchange students have health insurance for the duration of their studies in the United States. Additionally, all registered North Central College students must have health insurance. In accordance with these federal regulations and North Central College policy, exchange students are required to purchase health insurance through our provider (2026-2027 purchase link forthcoming). Insurance should be purchased prior to arrival, and students will be asked to provide proof of purchase and health insurance enrollment documentation at International Student Orientation.
Students in F-1 Status
