Oct 30, 2018

North Central College is hosting a freshman visit day on Monday, Nov. 5, for prospective students looking to find what the North Central experience is all about.

Visit day highlights include trolley tours through the charming, bustling city of Naperville, North Central’s hometown and one of the most sought after places to live in the United States. Guests also enjoy the guided walking tours of campus, led by current North Central students, for an in-depth look at the beautiful 68.5-acre campus, recently upgraded facilities and modern amenities. As part of your tour, you can also sample the cuisine with lunch at Kaufman Dining Hall, a favorite option among students on campus.

Visits will include a student life fair, detailing the exciting opportunities available for involvement and recreation on campus, as well as an academic fair, where students and families can learn about the College’s engaging, innovative course offerings and meet members of North Central’s outstanding faculty and athletic coaching staff. You will also receive important information on admission and financial aid to help you make your plans for higher education.

For students interested in attending the Shimer Great Books School at North Central College, there will be a session of the Montaigne Scholarship Competition. Students who submit an essay for the competition will participate in a discussion with Shimer students and faculty at 1:00 p.m., following the visit day events. Visit the Montaigne program web page for more information.

The freshman visit day starts at Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E. Chicago Avenue in Naperville. There is an optional session for high-achieving students beginning at 9:00 a.m., followed by general check-in at 9:15. More information and a full schedule for the day are available on our website.

If you cannot attend on Nov. 5, there are visit days scheduled for Monday, Jan. 5, Monday, Feb. 18 and Friday, March 1. You can also schedule a personalized visit whenever it is convenient, Monday through Saturday.
