"My favorite spot on campus is Wentz Science Center because I have had some of my most locked-in study sessions there!"
An interesting fact that you share on tours:
"I love to share that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke at Pfeiffer Hall in 1960."
Describe your college experience in three words:
"Impactful, memorable, and fun."
Advice for incoming students:
"Take advantage of all the opportunities at North Central College! That was how I was able to get everything I've ever wanted and more out of my college experience, like being president of Green Scene and studying abroad in France for a semester."
Nic Sadelski '28
Majors: English and Secondary Education

Favorite place on campus:
"Old Main Plaza. I love being outdoors, so having a space where I can work and hang out with friends while outside is a major win. The plaza sits between major buildings on campus, so students, faculty, and staff are always walking through it. Being surrounded by people going about their day energizes me, so I try to visit as much as possible."
An interesting fact that you share on tours:
"North Central College is a Level II Arboretum, meaning we have over 100 labeled species of trees on our campus."
Describe your college experience in three words:
"Experimental, metamorphic, and rewarding."
Advice for incoming students:
"Use North Central College as a foundation to explore your interests, discover your identity, and find communities where you feel you belong. There are countless clubs, organizations, and departments on campus filled with passionate people who are eager to share their interests. And if you don't find something, create it!"
Nicole Luken '28
Major: Accounting
Minor: Marketing
Favorite place on campus:
"The study spaces inside Wentz Science Center. They give me the flexibility to study in either a quiet or social environment, depending on what I need. I can focus independently on homework or work with classmates to discuss ideas and study together. I also really appreciate having access to a whiteboard because it gives me the space to write out problems, organize my thoughts, and review important material."
An interesting fact that you share on tours:
"I love sharing more about the Bloomberg Finance Lab because it is a unique resource for students on campus. Those pursuing a business-related major or minor can gain access to the lab, where they can explore financial data, conduct research, and earn industry-recognized certifications. These certifications can help students stand out when applying for internships and can provide valuable skills and experience that they can carry into their careers after graduation."
Describe your college experience in three words:
"Opportunities, community, and memories."
Advice for incoming students:
"Remain open to new opportunities and experiences. Stepping outside your comfort zone can be intimidating, but you never know where it may lead you. Sometimes, all it takes is a leap of faith to discover an opportunity that can have a meaningful impact on your life. It never hurts to ask questions, introduce yourself, or take a chance. Being willing to step outside your comfort zone can help you grow personally and professionally while opening doors you may not have expected."

Favorite place on campus:
"My favorite spot on campus is Goldspohn Hall! It's where I go to visit with my communication professors during their office hours, and the student lounge on the first floor is home to many of my lock-in study sessions."
An interesting fact that you share on tours:
"Our theatre department has put on the world premiere of three plays while I've been a student here: A Devil Comes to Town, this is not the reunion, and Everybody Thrashing!"

"Connection, advancement, and remarkable."
Advice for incoming students:
"Get involved! I've made my closest friends on campus because of the extra activities I decided to get myself involved in. You never know who you'll be introduced to or the opportunities you'll find simply by showing up."

Favorite place on campus:
"Old Main Plaza because it's a great spot to study, talk to friends, or grab drinks from the Boilerhouse Café."

"Dr. MLK once spoke in Pfeiffer Hall."

"Independence, social, and spirit."

"Surround yourself with good company."

Major: Nutrition Science
Minor: Psychology
Favorite place on campus:
"Right now, it's the living room in my suite in Schneller Residence Hall. It's a great study area and a warm, homey space where I can see my roommates or invite other people over to hang out! I also enjoy being in the Wentz Science Center and the nutrition department offices as well."
An interesting fact that you share on tours:
"We like to view campus as the anatomy of a human, which is why "the spine" is what we call the red brick walkway that runs through campus. The north end of campus is the head, where Oesterle Library is and more of our academic buildings. The middle of campus, being the stomach, is where the dining halls are, and the south end of campus is where all of the athletic facilities are located, being the legs and feet!"

"Lifegiving, passionate, and coffee."
Advice for incoming students:
"Pay attention to those around you. Try to learn the names of peers in your classes because you may see them at events or around campus. It can be a great way to connect with people who have similar interests. A simple wave or saying "hi" can lead to conversations and friendships you would never expect to have!"

"The third-floor conference rooms of the engineering building."

"The Hal and Benna Wilde Residence Hall/Recreation Center has 1,632 solar PV panels installed on the roof."
