Amy Grim Buxbaum, Ph.D., specializes in Organizational Communication and Rhetoric, and she oversees the department's Organizatonal Communication major.  An advocate for service learning, Dr. Buxbaum initiated a fundraising project in SPC 214/Group Process when she first arrived on campus in 2005.  Since that time, North Central students have raised over $90,000 for dozens of local, regional, and national non-profit organizations.   She is the faculty advisor for Lambda Pi Eta, the communication honor society.
