Lizzie teaches courses focused on the design and implementation of the visual elements of performance, including scenery, costumes and lighting. Originally from Philadelphia, Lizzie received her Bachelor's of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame and practiced with firms in England and New York before pursuing an MFA in Theatrical Design at the University of Texas at Austin. Lizzie has worked as a scenic designer for several theater companies in Chicago including Steppenwolf Theater Company, The Hypocrites, The Ruffians, The Neo-Futurists and Theater 7. She is also a company member with Barrel of Monkeys and a resident designer with The Other Theater Company.
