Kenya Moore

Dr. Kenya Moore is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Athletic Training at North Central College and a Licensed Athletic Trainer. She brings clinical experience across secondary school, performing arts, and collegiate athletic settings, with leadership in program development and management, as well as mentoring athletic training students and emerging clinicians through clinical education. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she serves as a faculty mentor, supporting student development and professional growth.

She holds a B.S. in Athletic Training from the University of Florida, an M.S. in Advanced Athletic Training, and a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. Her research examines the physical, energy, and mental demands of unconventional performance settings and explores aspects of academic wellness and resilience among health professional students. Dr. Moore has presented at conferences including the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the International Conference on Eating Disorders.
