Dr. Molly A. Swick joined the North Central College community in 2024 and serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Health Sciences Department. She earned an Ed.D. in Adult & Higher Education and an M.S.Ed. in Secondary Education from Northern Illinois University; her B.A. is in Radio/TV/Film from California State University, Long Beach. In past faculty positions, Dr. Swick taught graduate and undergraduate courses in educational philosophy and foundations, teacher education, health and wellness, public health, health promotion, Lifeguarding, CPR, Responding to Emergencies, water safety, and outdoor education. Dr. Swick cares deeply about helping students achieve their professional goals and is committed to fostering an engaging learning environment for all students. Her core commitment is excellence in teaching, and she is thrilled to join the NCC learning community. In her free time, Dr. Swick enjoys hiking with her dog LuLu, kayaking, whitewater rafting, canoeing, X-country skiing, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
