Profile Picture

Nicole joined North Central College in 2011 as a counselor at the Dyson Wellness Center and became Director of Counseling in 2014. Nicole is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Nicole is a first-generation American, whose parents migrated from Europe, and has always treasured learning about one’s life story. Nicole treats clients with a range of mental health issues and supervises counselors to ensure students are receiving exceptional care. Nicole truly values providing a safe, nonjudgmental environment for those that she works with in order for clients to feel empowered to face their challenges.

Nicole received her B.A. in Psychology at Northern Illinois University and earned her M.A. in Community Counseling at Illinois School of Professional Counseling at Argosy University. Nicole has worked as a clinician since 2007, starting her career as a counselor for children & adolescents in school settings. Nicole then expanded her skills by working in community mental health with clients ranging from 4 years old – 70+ years old. Ultimately, Nicole always knew that her passion was working with students and missed the connection to an educational institution, which led Nicole to the Dyson Wellness Center. Committed to collegiate mental health advocacy and student success, Nicole belongs to multiple professional organizations including the Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors.
