Dr. Viktoriia S. Kennet is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Communication at North Central College, where she teaches courses in public relations and public speaking. Her research examines public relations, strategic communication, organization–public relationship management, nation branding, and cultural diplomacy. Her work was supported by a Fulbright Graduate Student Award, an ASEEES Dissertation Research Grant, and a P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship, among other honors. Her scholarship has appeared in Global Perspectives in Communication and been presented at national and international conferences. Beyond academia, Dr. Kennet brings extensive professional experience in strategic communication, having worked with organizations including the World Bank, UNICEF, and Internews.

She holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Maryland, an M.A. in Media Arts & Studies from Ohio University, and an M.A. & B.A. in Folklore Studies, Ukrainian Language and Literature, and English Language from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
