At a time when many colleges across the nation are grappling with declining enrollments, North Central College welcomed its largest-ever incoming class this fall. The influx of new students has pushed total enrollment to an all-time high in the College’s 164-year history.

North Central College has announced the establishment of the Thomas J. Paleka ’83 and David E. Thomson Deanship in Business and Entrepreneurship.

Rev. Max Blalock has been appointed as North Central College’s new chaplain, effective July 1, 2025. Rev. Blalock brings 19 years of experience in campus ministry to this position, most recently as the campus minister at the College of William & Mary’s Wesley Foundation in Williamsburg, Va.
