Members of the Title IX Committee are staff and faculty who receive specialized training in Title IX, sex-based discrimination, sex-based harassment and violence, and the Title IX and Sexual Misconduct Policy and Procedure. Members of the Title IX Committee serve as part of the College’s formal grievance process to investigate incidents of Title IX according to the Title IX and Sexual Misconduct Policy. In addition to investigations, Title IX Committee members may serve additional roles as Advisors to the Respondent or Complainant, as Hearing Officers and Decision-Makers, as well as serve on appeals. They receive training each academic year in compliance with state and federal requirements.
