Maryellen Skerik oversees accounting, student accounts, accounts payable, human resources, procurement, risk management/insurance, and legal affairs.
Prior to joining North Central College, Maryellen was most recently with The International Association of Lions Clubs (Lions Clubs). She joined Lions Clubs in 2003 and served as the finance division manager for two years before being promoted to treasurer with oversight of all financial operations, human resource management, information technology and sale and distribution of branded merchandise.
Skerik has extensive experience within a variety of financial capacities encompassing responsibilities for business planning (strategic and tactical), financial controls, operations, cost savings, process improvements and research/analytics. She has worked in privately held diversified manufacturing environments with worldwide reporting units as well as global not-for-profits.
